Meeting with His Beatitude Mar Yaqp Daniel on 27th June 2019

On 27th June, 2019 a delegation from the Assyrian Aid Society Australia met with His Beatitude Mar Yaqo Daniel, Metropolitan of the Ancient Church of The East.

The delegation was represented by AAS-AU President Mrs June Jako, Treasurer Mr Nenos Shemoon, Ms Shoushan Tower, and Mr Dawood Youel..

AAS-AU thanked his beatitude for his support of our recent radiothon and his continuous support of AAS-AU.

The project of distributing the school supplies to the students of Assyrian schools in Nahla & Semel regions, on 17th and 24th of Nov. 2018

With support of Assyrian Aid Society of Australia, the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq implemented a project of distributing the school supplies to the students of Assyrian schools in Nahla & Semel regions. The school supplies were distributed to (491) students in schools of Sapna & Zakho regions, on Nov. 17th & 24th 2018.

AAS Au would like to sincerely thank you all for your generosity and support in keeping our language and culture in our homeland.
